Obituary of Alex Elias Sekellick

Alex Elias Sekellick, age 77, of Tioga, PA died Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at his home. Alex was born April 26, 1934 in Pottsville, PA, a son of Mr. & Mrs. Samuel Sekellick. Alex was an inspector for PennDot for 30 years, retiring in 2000. He was an Air Force veteran having served during the Korean conflict. Alex is survived by two sons, Adam Sekellick of Philadelphia, PA and Jared Sekellick of Lebanon, PA; two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathryna and Joseph Martocci of Roseto, PA and Stephanie and Ryan Kelsey of Gainesville, VA; seven grandchildren, Nicholas, Dominic, Alexandra, Kalib, Trevor, Morgan and Aiden; a brother, Nicholas Sekellick; a sister, Irene Post of Schuylkill Haven, PA. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, February 25, 2012 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with the Rev. John Mann officiating. Military honors will be provided by the Tioga County Honor Guard.
