Obituary of Crystal K. Bowen

Crystal K. Bowen, age 52 of Wellsboro, PA, passed away Monday, April 9, 2012 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. Crystal was born May 17, 1959 in Wellsboro, PA a daughter of Russell Rut and Marie (Mast) Wilcox. She was the wife of Ransom Rance W. Bowen. Crystal was a LPN for the Wellsboro School District. She was a member of the Cherry Flats Baptist Church and a former member of the Wellsboro V.F.W. Ladies Auxiliary. Crystal enjoyed decorating, gardening, and genealogy. Crystal is survived by her husband, Ransom; a daughter and son-in-law, Carly and Gary Bowen-Clark of Wellsboro, PA; a son, Chase Bowen of Wellsboro, PA; a step-daughter, Haley (Luke) Starkweather of Wellsboro, PA; her mother, Marie, of Oregon Hill, PA; a special grandson Dru Clark, who called her Meems; 2 step-grandsons, Wes and Jake Starkweather; 4 sisters, Bonnie Halstead of Linden, PA, LuAnn (Jody) Aichholz of Bernville, PA, Denise Woodhouse of Wellsboro, PA, and Janice (John Yilek) Wilcox of Germania, PA; a brother, Rusty Wilcox of Oregon Hill, PA; mother-in-law, Audrey H. Bowen of Wellsboro, PA; 2 brothers-in-law, Rick (Charlotte) Bowen of Lungmont, CO, Russ (Nancy) Bowen of Luxemburg, PA, a sister-in-law, Rene (Freal) Perry of Wellsboro, PA; special friends, Kim, Judy and JoAnn. She was predeceased by her father, Russell, her father-in-law, Ransom H. Bowen in 2008, a nephew, Clint Perry, and a niece, Ashley Aichholz in 2012. A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Welsh Settlement Cemetery.
