Obituary of Clayton T. Cooper

Clayton T. Coop Cooper, age 84 of Wellsboro, PA, died on Sunday, May 20, 2012 in Broad Acres Health and Rehabilitation Center, Wellsboro, PA. Born on August 3, 1927 in Wellsboro, PA, Clayton was the son of Thomas and Ella (Howey) Cooper. He and his wife, Mary E. (Wakley) Cooper celebrated 26 years of marriage on December 24, 2011. Prior to his retirement, Clayton was employed for 35 as a supervisor in the tin shop with Bordens, Wellsboro, PA. He was a US Navy veteran having served during WWII. In addition to his wife, Mary, Clayton is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Edward and Tami Delinski of Libery, PA, James and Mary Delinski of Mansfield, PA; three daughters and a son-in-law, Janice Cooper-Davis of Ocala, FL, Maurie and David Helper of Blossburg, PA, Beth Masser of Montoursville, PA; three sisters and a brother-in-law, Martha and Edward Chapman of Tyler, TX, Jeanne Baier of Elmira, NY, Clea Allen of Urbine, CA; 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Clayton was predeceased by a son, John Cooper on Jan. 10, 2002 and two infant brothers. A private memorial service will be held on Thursday, May 24, 2012 at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. with Rev. Darwin Tink Cranmer officiating.
