Obituary of Carol E. Wright

Carol E. Wright, age 81, of Middlebury Center, PA, died Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at his home. Carol was born December 23, 1933 in Blossburg, PA, a son of Louis and Emma (Corwin) Wright. He celebrated a 35th wedding anniversary on June 30th with his wife, Pearl (Rockwell) Wright. Carol retired from Kennedy Valve. He was a member of Niles Valley United Methodist Church and a veteran of the Army serving during the Korean Conflict. Carol enjoyed hunting and woodworking. Carol is survived by his wife, Pearl; 2 sons and daughters-in-law, David and Kathleen Write of York, PA, Michael and Laurie Wright of Addison, NY, 2 daughters and a son-in- law, Kathy and Paul Olyowski of Elmira, NY, Tammie Baker of Covington, PA; 4 step-sons, Mark LaPoint of NC, James LaPoint of Middlebury Center, PA, Jody LaPoint of Little Marsh, PA, Lynn LaPoint, Jr. of Middlebury Center, PA; 11 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; 4 step-grandchildren; 2 sisters, Audrey Kaszewski of Bath, NY, Norma (Dean) Wilcox of Florida; several nieces and nephews. Carol was predeceased by his first wife, Mary Ella Rhinebold; a son, Scott Wright; 3 brothers, Arthur, James and Jerome; 4 sisters, Martha Morrow, Virginia Bell, Shirley Chadwick, and Mildred Cummings. Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, February 8, 2015 from 1:00 to 3:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA.
