Obituary of Linda Marie Root

Linda Marie (Boyden) Root, age 66, of Wellsboro, PA, died on Monday, September 3, 2012 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born on February 10, 1946 in Wellsboro, PA, she was the daughter of Edwin and Marion (Huck) Boyden. Linda and her husband, Gregory, were married for 20 years. Prior to her retirement, Linda was employed as a seamstress for the Dress Factory. She enjoyed her grandchildren, TV video games and cross stitching. In addition to her husband, Gregory, she is survived by six sons, Phillip Seipler of St. Thomas, PA, James Seipler of Waynesboro, PA, Brian Seipler of Frederick, MD; Jason Gregory (Debbie) Root of Ocean City, MD, Ryan Gordon (Erin) Root of Wellsboro, PA, Marcus Elihu Root of Coudersport, PA; one daughter and son-in-law, Vicki and Anthony Cowan of Chambersburg, PA; three brothers , Dana (Marian) Boyden of Syracuse, NY, Jim Boyden of Floursville, TX, Ronald Boyden of Wellsboro, PA; three sisters, Beverly Button of Wellsboro, PA, Shirley (Robert) Leon of Elyria, OH, Diana (Adam Burrows) White of Woodhall, PA; 11 grandchildren and five great grandchildren. Linda was predeceased by a sister, Shannon Root. The family will hold a private visitation at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main Street, Mansfield, PA.
