Obituary of Edward G. Gleason

Edward G. Gleason, age 79, of Wellsboro, PA, died on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 in Broad Acres Health and Rehabilitation Center, Wellsboro, PA. Edward lived at Bakercrest from February 2003 until September of 2012 when he moved to Broad Acres for rehabilitation. He was born on February 21, 1933 in Tioga County, PA. Prior to his retirement, Edward was employed as a truck driver for a casket company. He attended the Roseville Baptist Church. Edward loved playing the harmonica and enjoyed calling square dances. Edward is survived by one niece, Eloise Sanford of Hornell, NY, and two great nieces, Penny Drew and Kelly Sanford both of Hornell, NY. In addition to his family, he was survived by many friends at Bakercrest. Edward was predeceased by a sister, Gladys Mae Bradford in 1984 and several other brothers and sisters. A memorial service will be held for Edward on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Bakercrest, 76 Bakercrest Lane, Millerton, PA 16936 with Don Baker officiating.
