Obituary of Paul Warren Brown

Paul Warren Brown, 85, of Wellsboro, died Friday, Oct. 19, 2012, at Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro. Paul was born Aug. 6, 1927, in Pocopson, Chester County, a son of Charles Leroy and Marjorie (Brown) Brown. He worked as a former outdoor sporting goods salesman and archery instructor, and an auto mechanic/salesman. Paul was a World War II Army veteran and a member of the First Baptist Church in Galeton. He was a member of Trout Unlimited, a jazz musician, artist, photographer, fly fisherman/fly tyer and hunter. He immensely enjoyed sharing his love of nature, knowledge and skills with his many friends and family members. Paul is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law, Steven Brown of Gaines, John and Lucille Brown of West Chester, Michael and Gayle Brown of Sayre/Ithaca N.Y.; three grandchildren, Stephany, Jaclyn and Jade; three step-grandchildren, Autumn, Juria and Max; three great- (and three step-)grandchildren and a brother, LeRoy Brown of Kenneth Square. He was predeceased by his wife, Ellen in 1992; a son, Paul LeRoy Lee Brown; and a brother, Charles Brown.
