Obituary of Christine D. Everritt

Christine D. Everritt, age 91, of Tioga, PA, died Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at Corning Hospital, Corning, NY. She was born November 2, 1920 in Richford, Vermont, a daughter of Herbert and Glenna (Jacobs) Ryea. Christine was the widow of Olin M. Everritt who passed away in November 2010. She worked for in the assembly department of Kamen Aircraft in Conn. before her retirement. She was owner and operator of the Calico Goose in Lawrenceville, PA. Christine enjoyed crafts. Christine is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Brady and Sally Miller of Winsted, CT; two daughters and sons-in-law, Cheryl and Tom Rotsell of Tioga, PA, Kathleen and Robert Ratches of Roseville, PA; 11 grandchildren, Tammy Rieppel, Shawn Williams, Angila Arnold, Erica Buchanan, Lorrin Cummings, William Laser, Charles Miller, Elizabeth Miller, Jennifer Brown, Deborah Barta, and Amy Smalley; 22 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren; a sister, Cecil Nutting of Enisburg, VT. She was predeceased by her husband, Olin, in 2010; her first husband, LeRoy Miller in 1969; a daughter, Penny Miller in 1985; siblings, Ira Ryea, Fostine Weeks, Beula Todd, Hortense Benson, Bernice Regan, Beatrice McCalister. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, October 27, 2012 from 11:00 to 2:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Allen Hulslander officiating. Burial will be in Hammond Cemetery, Middlebury Twp., PA.
