Harrison H. Wales, age 84, of Millerton, PA, died Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Williamsport Regional Medical Center, Williamsport, PA. Harrison was born March 28, 1928 in Elmira, NY, a son of William B. and Minna (Henry) Wales. He was married to Erma L. (Miller) Wales. Harrison was a graduate of Millerton High School and worked as a welder and farmer. He enjoyed reading, telling stories and playing cards. Harrison was a member of the Jackson Summit Baptist Church. Harrison is survived by 4 sons and daughters-in-law, Kevin (Patricia) Wales of Millerton, PA, Jeff (Linda) Wales and Keith Wales of Jackson Summit, PA, Greg (Kathy) Wales of TN; Alfred and Barb Wales of GA; 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Virginia (Alex) Stavisky and Karan (Barry) Kirby of FL; 10 grandchildren, Kevin, Jr., Bradley, Aimee, Cindy, Mike, Chad, Megan, Katie, Mike and Ashley; 10 great grandchildren; 3 brothers and sisters-in-law, George (Beverly) Wales and Donald (Janet) Wales of Jackson Summit, PA, Robert Wales of AZ, a sister, Frances Woughton of Pine City, NY. Harrison was predeceased by 4 sisters, Eva Purvis, Leda Montgomery, Laura Miller and Hazel Pettit; 3 brothers, Joe Wales, William Wales, Jr., and Max Wales. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 from 9:30 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will follow at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral chapel with Rev. Eugene Charsky and Pastor Benjamin Lanning officiating.
