Obituary of David C. Rupert

David C. Rupert, age 73, of Wellsboro, PA, died on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 in Highland Care Center, Laporte, PA. Born on August 27, 1939 in Beech Creek, PA, he was the son of LeRoy and Anna Belle (Waite) Rupert. David is survived by his wife, Emma Lou (Ross) Rupert. Prior to his retirement, David was employed in the bridge construction industry. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Wellsboro, PA and was an avid golfer. In addition to his wife, Emma Lou, he is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, Jeff and Mary Ellen Rupert of Wellsboro, PA, Jerry Rupert of Boone, Iowa; a brother, Eddie Rupert of Beech Creek, PA; a sister, Anna Meskell of Beech Creek, PA; two grandchildren, Justin and Adrianna Rupert and a sister-in-law, Anna Mae Rupert of Beech Creek, PA. David was predeceased by a granddaughter, Jillian Rupert in 2010 and a brother, Russell Rupert. In keeping with Davids wishes, there will be no services.
