Obituary of Leola M. Schmouder

Leola M. Schmouder, age 79, of Liberty, PA, died on Thursday, February 7, 2013 in Broad Acres Health and Rehabilitation Center, Wellsboro, PA. Born on June 12, 1933 in Rome, PA, she was the daughter of Charles and Juanita Bennett. Leola is survived by her husband, Lehman E. Schmouder. Prior to her retirement, Leola was employed as a seamstress with Wundies. She enjoyed bowling at Maple Lanes in Mansfield, PA and crocheting. In addition to her husband, Lehman, Leola is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Janet and David Roupp of Liberty, PA, Sharon and Cody Thomas of Marsh Hill, PA; a brother, William Bennett of Williamsport, PA; four grandchildren: Timothy, Nathan, Angela, Holly; three great grandchildren, Myla, Colton and Marshall. Leola was predeceased by a sister, Louise Merrill and a brother, Carl Bennett. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, February 12, 2013 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main Street, Mansfield, PA. A funeral service will be held immediately following calling hours at 3:00 PM at the funeral chapel with Rev. Harry Colegrove officiating.
