Obituary of Stephen Lee Jayne

Stephen Lee Jayne, age 40, of Mansfield, PA died unexpectedly Saturday, April 20, 2013. Stephen was born January 30, 1973 in Elmira, NY a son of Charles and Frances (Dyke) Jayne. He was owner and operator of Jayne Logging and Tree Service. Stephen enjoyed fishing, hunting, shooting pool, swimming, playing golf, and a good barbecue. Stephen is survived by a son, Shawn Barrett of Blossburg, PA; his mother, Frances Jayne of Mansfield, PA; his father and step-mother, Charles Jayne and Sheila Smith of Millerton, PA; his sweetheart, Jodi Daley and family, Beth, Bashan, Joey, Christel, Avery, Aryan and Josh; a brother, Kenneth (Kim Kennedy) Jayne of Mansfield; nieces, Brittney Jayne Kingsley and Kelcey JoAnn Jayne; 2 great nieces, Kamerin and Kadence; 1 great nephew, Konner; aunts, uncles and cousins; preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Durward and Leona Dyke; paternal grandparents, Edwin and Marion Jayne. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, April 23, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. and Wednesday, April 24, 2013 from 3:00 to 4:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 P.M. on Wednesday following calling hours with Rev. Jeff McCleary and Pastor William Shepherd officiating.
