Obituary of Donald Joseph Williamson

Donald Joseph Williamson, Sr., born February 8, 1934, died June 7, 2013 at the age of 79. He was born in Lansdale, NJ, to the late Paul and Dorothy (Raub) Williamson. Don married Margaret "Peggy" Hallinger in 1955. They lived in Stroudsburg, PA from 1960 to 1975. From 1975 to 1987 they lived in Bangor, PA, owner of the Oak and Maple Inn. He was a owner and operator of his trucking company before retiring. Don's love of farming led them to move to Mansfield, PA in 1987 to fulfill his dream. Don was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving during the Korean Conflict from 1951 to 1955. Don is survived by 3 daughters, Donna (Randy) Horn of Bangor, PA, Elaine (Thomas) Turek of Mansfield, PA, Maylene Wallace of Pen Argyl, PA; a son, Donald of Pen Argyl, PA. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, a sister, Barbara Werkeisar of Columbia, NJ and his constant companion, Monte. Don's brother, Paul (Chub) Jr. preceded him in death in 1998. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, June 15, 2013 from 2:00 to 3:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA.
