Obituary of Tanya Sue Carpenter

Tanya Sue Carpenter, age 35, of Mansfield, PA, died at her home Monday, August 5, 2013. She was born September 2, 1977 in Montgomery, Alabama, a daughter of James Carpenter "J.C." of Mansfield, PA and Susan (Bates) Bly, of Tioga, PA. Tanya was a salesperson for Kingdom, Inc. She loved her dog, Ella. Tanya enjoyed cats, and watching movies with her niece and nephew, Cade and Reagan. Tanya is survived by her mother and stepfather, Susan and Keith Bly of Tioga, PA; father, James Carpenter of Mansfield, PA; maternal grandmother, Veronica Bates Griffitts of Wellsboro, PA; step-grandmother, Betty M. Bly of Tioga, PA; brother, Travis Bly of Tioga, PA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Miranda (Jeff) Kurzejewski of Mansfield, PA, Danielle Bly (Toby) Hilbert of Erie, PA, Saira Bly (Chris) Olson of Blossburg, PA; special friend, David Mandeville ?Burns? of Mansfield, PA; 2 nieces and nephew, Cade, Reagan Kurzejewski and Mila Olson; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She was predeceased by her paternal grandparents, Emory and Evelyn Carpenter; maternal grandfather, Richard Bates; great grandmother, Ella Jacobson; step-grandfather, Charles Bly. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, August 8, 2013 from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will follow at 8:00 P.M. at the funeral chapel with Pastor Debbie Button officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Tioga, PA.
