Obituary of Charles E. Beemen

Charles E. Beemen, age 84, of Westfield, PA, died Thursday, October 3, 2013 at his home. Charles was born May 24, 1929 in Assumption, IL, a son of Charles H. and Chloe (Buck) Beemen. He is survived by his wife, Carol (Hewitt) Beemen. Charles was an electrical engineer for S.P.D. before his retirement. He was a member of Cowanesque United Methodist Church, The American Legion, and was a U.S. Marines veteran serving during the Korean conflict. Charles enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors. In addition to his wife, Carol, Charles is survived by 2 daughters and sons-in-law, Linda Stadler-Mercurio and Anthony Mercurio of Mays Landing, NJ, Sondra and Harry Christofides of Blenheim, NJ; 5 grandchildren, Sharon Legault, Kimberly Macrie, Nan Difebbo, Cassandra Hassis, Alexander Christofides; 6 great grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Julia Tellgren, Robert and Joseph Macrie, Christian and Sarah Legault.
