Obituary of Elvira June Groves

Elvira June Groves, age 78, of Cameron, NY, died Saturday, February 20, 2016 at Ira Davenport Hospital, Bath, NY. She was born May 16, 1937 in Tioga County, PA, a daughter of William Henry and Ruth Ellen (Doan) Lowe. Elvira worked for Corning Glass before she retired. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles in Addison, NY. Elvira is survived by a daughter, Mary Shedden of Gaines, PA; 2 grandchildren, William Shedden of Knoxville, PA and James Shedden of Wellsboro, PA; 3 brothers and sisters-in-law, LeRoy (Donna) Lowe, Gerald (Penny) Lowe, and William Lowe, all of Elkland, PA; a sister, Ruth Johnston of Bradford, PA. She was predeceased by an infant son, brothers, and a sister. Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, February 23, 2016 from Noon to 1:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA.
