Obituary of Betty Smith

Betty Smith, age 80, of Millerton, PA, died Tuesday, March 8, 2016 at the Select Specialty Hospital, Danville, PA. She was born on November 28, 1935 in West Chester, PA, a daughter of Andrew and Sophie (Lange) Henck. Betty was the wife of the late Thomas C. Smith, who passed away in 2013. She was a member of the Millerton Wesleyan Church, enjoyed gardening with flowers, doing flower boxes for the church and spending time with her children, grandchildren and a great grandson. Betty is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, James and Susan Smith of Erin, NY; 3 daughters and a son-in-law, Shirley Smith of West Chester, PA, Susan Gillespie of West Chester, PA, Peggy and Andrew White of Kennett Square, PA; 7 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, Gabriel; 3 sisters, Evelyn Raffier, Frances Webster, Esther Christian. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, March 19, 2016 from 10 AM to 11 AM at the Millerton Wesleyan Church, 5174 Main St., Millerton, PA.
