Obituary of Daryl K. Scholtz

Daryl K. Scholtz, age 52, of Mansfield, PA, died Wednesday, December 7, 2016 at Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA. He was born May 24, 1964 in Wellsboro, PA, a son of John and Charlene (Clark) Scholtz. Daryl was a truck driver for Dakes in Arnot, PA. Daryl had a green thumb and enjoyed planting flowers; fishing, and motorcycles. He loved his grandchildren and was always doing something to help a friend in need. Daryl is survived by his wife, Robin (Sumner) Scholtz; his father, John Scholtz of Wellsboro, PA; a daughter, Elizabeth Trutt of Williamsport, PA; a brother, Lyle Scholtz of Concord, NH; a sister, Vickie (William) Christian of Wellsboro, PA; 3 grandchildren, Heavyn, Spencer and Lestat. He was predeceased by his mother, Charlene Scholtz. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, December 12, 2016 from 1:00 P.M. to 2:00 P.M. at Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA. A memorial service will follow at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral chapel with Pastor Ken Smith officiating.
