Obituary of Lucile Driskell

Lucile Driskell, age 92, of Wellsboro, PA, died Monday, January 16, 2017 at the Samaritan House in Wellsboro. She was born December 20, 1924 in New York, NY, a daughter of Charles A. and Clarice (Jung) Gall. Lucile married Richard Driskell in September 1946 celebrated 66 years of marriage before his passing May 15, 2012. Lucile was a renowned abstract artist. Visit luciledriskellfineart.com. Lucile is survived by 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas and Anne (Bennett) Driskell of Carbondale, CO, and David and Fay Driskell of Wellsboro, PA; 2 grandchildren, Hannah and Amy. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Donald Driskell in 2015; 2 sisters, Gloria Gall and Irene Vaughn. In keeping with Lucile's wishes, there will be no services other than a gathering to be announced by the family.
