Obituary of Teresa M. Bailey

Teresa (Mcgee) Bailey, of Millerton, PA, age 78, passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2017 at Broad Acres Health and Rehabilitation Center in Wellsboro, PA. Teresa was born on January 11, 1939, the daughter of the late Joseph and Edith Kehrer (Mcgee) Ayres. She is survived by sons and daughter-in-law, Jim and Anne of Troy, PA, Tim of Gillett, PA; daughters and son-in-law, Edie Smith and Don Bement of Millerton, PA, Sharon and Mike Steever of Telford, PA, Betsy and Byron Button of Tioga, PA, Christine and Dan Cross of Tioga, PA; 18 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; brothers and sisters-in-law, James and Shirley Mcgee of Towanda, PA, Joseph and Julie Mcgee of Troy, PA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary and Richard Allen of Towanda, PA, Teodorie Tilly of Arnot, PA; 2 half-sisters, Susan and Kevin Shedd of Williamsburg, VA, Juellen and Paul Davis of Athens, PA; several nieces and nephews; many dear friends; a special friend, Sharon Smith. Teresa was predeceased by her beloved husband of 58 years, James L. Bailey; a sister, Anne Cook Tilly; a brother-in-law, John J. Cook; a brother, Jack McGee; a granddaughter, Amber J. Button; a great-granddaughter, Violet E. Button. Teresa was a homemaker and worked on their dairy farm with her husband. She enjoyed her family and her puppies. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, October 26, 2017 from 11:00 AM to Noon at the Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc., 637 S. Main St., Mansfield, PA.
