Obituary of James M. Boor

James M. Boor, age 93, of Columbia Cross Roads, PA, passed away on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Guthrie Troy Community Hospital in Troy, PA. He was born on July 14, 1930, in Elmira, NY, a son of Michael and Rosie (Benesh) Boor. Jim graduated from Horseheads High School and farmed with his father before marrying Eleanor (Watson) Boor on March 5, 1952. He and Eleanor were a hard-working couple that raised five children on their farm near Austinville, PA. Jim was an excellent dairy farmer who took pride in his closed dairy, excellent crops, and mechanic skills that could fix just about anything. James is survived by his wife; three sons, Dale Boor , Dennis Boor (Marcia), and Glen Boor; a daughter, Lynette Schultz (David); seventeen grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild; two sisters, Betty Dove and Rose Tolbert; and a brother, Robert Boor. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Mosher(Ron). A memorial service will be announced at a later date. Buckheit Funeral Chapel and Crematory, Inc. 637 S.
