Obituary of Ida Mae Fisher

Ida M. Fisher, age 75, of Lawrenceville, PA, passed away on Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at Broad Acres Nursing Home in Wellsboro, PA. She was born on September 22, 1948, in Wellsboro, PA, a daughter of George and Hazel (Stafford) Tillinghast. Ida and her husband, Roger D. Fisher, were married on July 6, 1968, in Lawrenceville, PA. Ida was a retired cook from Schoonover's Restaurant in Westfield, PA. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, and loved animals and spending time with her family. Ida is survived by her six children, Patrick Fisher of KY, Rogina Bonomo of Lawrenceville, PA, Josh (Mary) Fisher of Hazleton, PA, Jody Fisher of Lawrenceville, PA, Heather (Charles) Sorge of Tioga, PA, and Gregory Fisher of Lawrenceville, PA; fourteen grandchildren, Cheyanne Hurlburt, Jasmine (Tyler) Morris, Brittany (Tim) Kitajima, Brandon (Whitney) Bonomo, Jake (Britteny) Fisher, Jordan Fisher, Juliana (Casey) Truax, Kasey Fisher, Destiny Sorge, Gage Sorge, Aidan Sorge, Ryan Fisher, Austin Fisher, and Kaziah Anthony; fifteen great grandchildren; sister, Bonnie (Danny) Eldred of Ocala, FL; brother, Jerry Tillinghast of Lawrenceville, PA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roger, and parents. A celebration of life will be held by her daughter at her home in Tioga, and will be announced at a later date.
