Obituary of Ronald R. Tomlinson

Type Obit Here Ronald R. Tomlinson, Sr., age 73, of 40 Rolling Acres Road, Mansfield, PA, died on Wednesday, August 23, 2006 in Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA. He was born on January 12, 1933 in Mansfield, PA, a son of the late Russell Pat and Ilah (Hackenberry) Tomlinson. Prior to his retirement, Ronald was employed as a Campus Police Officer with Mansfield University of PA. He served in the U.S. Navy and was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a lifetime member of the Mansfield V.F.W. and the Arnot Sportsmens Club. Ronald is survived by his wife of 42 years Mary Ann (Dawson) Tomlinson of Mansfield, his mother Ilah Tomlinson of Drakes Nursing Home in Galeton, PA,; two daughters: Eva Sandy Frost of Covington, PA and Robin Tomlinson of Mansfield, PA, two sons and a daughter-in-law: Mark and Tommie Tomlinson of Westfield, PA, and Ronald Tomlinson, Jr. and fianc, Carolyn, of Mansfield, PA; six grandchildren and six great grandchildren. In addition to his father, he was predeceased by a brother Richard LeRoy Dick Tomlinson in 1996. In accordance with the familys wishes a private funeral service will be held at a later date.
