Obituary of Harriet M LaVancher

Harriet M. (Loveless) Petticrew LaVancher age 93 of Wellsboro, PA and formerly of Tioga, PA, died on Tuesday, October 31, 2006 at the Broad Acres Health and Rehabilitation Center in Wellsboro, PA. Harriet was the wife of the late William Petticrew and the late Joseph LaVancher. She was born on November 20, 1912 in Summer Hill, NY the daughter of Orwell and Marion (Hutcheson) Loveless. Harriet was a member of the St. Andrews Church in Tioga, PA, and the Farmington Grange. Harriet is survived by a daughter and son-in-law; Ann and Norman Nub Butler of New Port Richie, FL, a son and daughter-in-law; Richard and Beverly Petticrew of Odessa, FL, three step sons and step daughters-in-law; Fred and Judy LaVancher, John and Carol LaVancher all of Tioga, PA, Joseph and Teresa LaVancher of Presho, NY, 7 grandchildren, 8 step grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 5 step great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, November 4, 2006 from noon till 2 PM at the Jacquelyn A. Buckheit Funeral Chapel, Crematory & Monuments, PC 637 S. Main St. Mansfield, PA. Funeral services will be held immediately following the viewing at 2 PM at the funeral home with The Rev. Dr. Joseph McNamara officiating. Burial will be in Farmington Hill Cemetery, Farmington Twp., Tioga County, PA.
